Collegiate Recovery Programs
VCU Rams in Recovery We are so incredibly proud of Rams in Recovery at VCU. The foundation continues to provide critical financial and logistical support to the Rams in Recovery, Virginia’s flagship Collegiate Recovery Program. The program grew by leaps and bounds in 2016-2017, and now supports 60 students in recovery, has dedicated space for students in recovery and will open recovery housing in the fall. As a result of JHW’s continued support, VCU has continued to deepen their commitment to Collegiate Recovery, dedicating a full-time, university funded, faculty level position to Rams in Recovery. One student reflected at the end of the semester, “The community literally saved me. I felt so alone until I started going to meetings where people are so welcoming and real with each other.”
